There is a separate section for garden pictures. These would be best placed there than in the general question section.

Wow! How tall/wide is the habanero de arbol?

I think I'm going to expand my pepper plantings next year. I did OK this year, but nowhere as well as these!

And yes, there is a photo section. But as these are specifically of veggies and not the garden in general, I think they're right at home here. I have no problem with them being here.

The habanero de Arbol only gets about 4ft X 4ft. the first year, but it was in a #5 (3+gal. )pot.
That one is over 10 yrs old and was over 12 ft. high X 12ft wide the second or 3rd year.
Once you trim it ,it stays that way.
It likes cool weather and not the hot weather.Fruits 3-4 times a year.Best pods are early spring and fall.
Seems to like to be somewhat root bound.
I have a red and an orange variety from a local nursery.

I thaught the pics belonged here too,not with a bunch of fancy vases and flower settings.
If management says something I'll stop posting my vegetable/Pepper pics here.
I only grow Peppers-non bell types.

Should have more pics soon,as pods ripen.
I grew about 200-250 varieties this year-cut way back from 400-500 last year.
    All are in nursery pots.

    I don't usually grow Jalapenos.
I do grow Habaneros and a lot of Chinense varieties.
Habs just don't like wet feet and they like Calcium.
I grow only in pots so I have no advice for growing in the ground...
I prefere a bark based potting soil and mix it myself.

I start everything from seed around Dec. under Fluorescent Lights and LED pannels I made.

Once I made some pepper flakes out of all the color changes the different ones made-all color changes.
It looked ok but I wish peppers dried truer to the color in the pics.
use it for ice cream sprinkles.
